How can I become a member? |
Ask a Mason for his recommendation If you don't know a Mason, contact Tyrian Lodge or your local lodge. |
What are the guidelines? You must be a man of at least eighteen years of age. A women's auxiliary known as The Eastern Star exists for the wives and adult daughters of Masons. For boys under the age of eighteen we have a youth group known as The DeMoley. |
You must profess a belief in deity and live a moral and ethical life. Masonry does not accept atheists. |
You must be recommended by two current Masons who are in good standing. Your petition will then be taken to the Lodge on a regular business evening for a vote. If the Lodge votes to accept your petition three members will be appointed to interview you. Following your interview, a report will be made to the Lodge on a regular business evening and a ballot will be cast to accept or decline your membership. If accepted you will then be contacted to set a date for your initiation. |
What does it cost? We have a $50 initiation fee.
Annual dues are curently $60 but will increase to $70 for 2007. |
